Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payments

​

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. Spots are not guaranteed unless the deposit has been paid.

• Deposits are due no later than April 1, 2025.

• The deposit amount will be subtracted from the total trip amount due per person.

• The deposit is not required if paying for the spot in full upfront. The deposit is only required if paying in installments.

• Installment payments are due on the specified dates. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your booking.

• The final balance must be paid in full by June 25, 2025.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

​

• Non-Refundable Deposit Policy: All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to another trip or participant at our discretion.

• Refund Policy: Cancellations made 30 days or more before the start date of the trip are eligible for a 50% refund of payments made (excluding the deposit).

• Cancellations made less than 30 days from the start date of the trip are non-refundable.

• If the retreat is canceled by Zakinza Experience LLC due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund (excluding deposit and any personal expenses such as airfare).

 

3. Travel Insurance

​

• We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or stolen belongings.

• Zakinza Experience LLC, its managing members, employees, trip partners, sponsors, and affiliates waive responsibility for liability in all aspects of trips, excursions, events, amenities, and accommodations.

 

4. Health & Safety

​

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the activities involved in the trip.

• Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed prior to travel.

• Participants must comply with local laws, customs, and safety regulations.

 

5. Accommodations & Room Assignments

​

• Participants selecting double occupancy will be paired with a roommate unless they specify a preferred roommate.

• Single occupancy is available for an additional fee and subject to availability.

• Zakinza Experience LLC, its managing members, employees, trip partners, sponsors, and affiliates waive responsibility for liability in all aspects of accommodations.

 

6. Code of Conduct

​

• We strive to create a respectful and inclusive environment. Participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward others, including fellow travelers, guides, and locals.

• Any behavior that is disruptive, discriminatory, or unsafe may result in removal from the trip without a refund.

 

7. Itinerary & Experience Adjustments

​

• The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, local conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel activities in the interest of the group’s safety and experience.

• Zakinza Experience LLC, its managing members, employees, trip partners, sponsors, and affiliates waive responsibility for liability in all aspects of trips and excursions.

 

8. Liability Waiver

• By participating, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with travel, including but not limited to transportation, accommodations, physical activities, and interactions with local communities.

• Zakinza Experience LLC, its managing members, employees, trip partners, sponsors, organizers, instructors, and third-party vendors shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, delays, property damage, or loss incurred before, during, or after the trip.

• Participants agree to release, waive, and discharge Zakinza Experience LLC and its affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the trip, including but not limited to negligence, unforeseen events, or acts of third parties.

 

9. Photo & Media Release

​

• By joining our trips, you grant permission for Zakinza Experience LLC and its affiliates to use photographs, videos, and testimonials taken during the experience for promotional purposes.

• If you wish to opt out, you must notify us in writing before the trip begins.

 

10. Governing Law

​

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Florida, USA.

• Any disputes arising from participation in Zakinza Experience LLC trips will be resolved through mediation or arbitration.
