Zakinza Experience LLC presents our Afro-Curaçao Dance Retreat. This captivating ten-day dance, music and cultural immersion will take place in August of 2025 on the beautiful Caribbean island of Curaçao. Led by Curaçao's top folkloric dance teachers, the retreat offers a unique fusion of Afro-Curaçao dance styles and rhythms. Discover new yet familiar movements and sounds through the Afro-Curaçaoan rhythms and dances of tambú, seú, wapa, and tumba. Each dance class will be accompanied by live drumming and song by acclaimed Curaçao musicians. In addition, we will provide somatic arts experiences through yoga sessions and breathwork sessions.

10 days/9 nights in Curacao

Enjoy 5 nights in vibrant Willemstad and 4 nights in the serene Westpunt region, with daily breakfasts and dinners, roundtrip airport transportation, and transfers to all activity locations included. Immerse yourself in the dance and music workshops led by Curaçao's folkloric experts, with live drumming and local dance and music teachers. Learn new rhythms and songs, and explore the island with guided tours, kayaking, and beach adventures.
